Why Ugly Thimble
Honestly they are ugly. Deer leather wrapped around your finger and glued does not look pretty. But it is the most comfortable thimble I have ever tried.

Created out of necessity
I created the thimble when I could not find a thimble that worked for me. I push the needle from all over my finger tip, manufactured thimbles were too small or too large. 

Made by you, for your finger
Create for yourself a thimble that fits any finger or thumb you use to sew or quilt with. I have one for 2 different fingers and my thumb.  You made it, so it fits!

The Ugly Thimble from Cathy's Creations
From Cathy, I started quilting 7 years ago and discovered I loved it. I also, discovered I love to hand quilt. Hand quilting is soothing for me. Only I could not find a thimble that worked for me, being self taught, I tend to push the needle with the side of my finger.  I resorted to band-aiding a dime to my finger. 

With some experimenting I came up with the ugly thimble.
