Used to securely hold and adjust the tension of cords and drawstrings without the need for knots. It is commonly used on outdoor gear like backpacks and sleeping bags to tighten openings, on clothing such as jackets to cinch hoods, and for window treatments like Roman shades to control their height. Cord locks grips the cord when released and allows the cord to move freely when squeezed.
