Quick Machine Servicing
Skip Navigation Website Accessibility

Please note all appointments booked after March 1st will be held at our new location, 2950 Douglas St #400, Victoria, BC.

We service all makes and models of domestic sewing machines and sergers, but are certified with and specialize in Bernina. You can book an appointment for your machine service, or, if you don't mind waiting, you can drop your machine off with us anytime and have it added to the queue. Please contact us to find out current wait times.

Please note booking is not required to have your machine serviced, unless:

  • Your machine is wired into a cabinet. Most come out, see below.
  • You are in Victoria only for a limited time. We cannot put you ahead of those waiting patiently with short notice, but will do our best to make arrangements work with your visit.

When you book, bring your machine in by noon on the day of booking and the technician will take a look at it within two business days. Multiple machines, extra labour, or machines requiring parts may require more time. We require two weeks notice so as to allow those in queue to get done. For more than one machine in a day, call the store to confirm booking.

Please be sure to bring with your machine:

  • Foot control
  • Power cord
  • Bobbin case
  • Bobbin
  • Standard presser foot (usually zigzag)
  • List of any specific concerns
    • Appropriate accessories to coincide with concerns (i.e.: having issues with buttonholes, please bring your buttonhole foot.)
    • Thread that you are using during issues, if applicable.
    • Samples of issues.

Please DO NOT bring with your machine:
  • All other loose accessories (extra presser feet, bobbins, etc.)
  • We understand that boxes and roller cases make traveling with your machine easier and safer, but please take them back with you as they take up a lot of space and we are in short supply)
  • If your machine is on hinges in a cabinet, remove the machine by tipping back the machine and loosening the set screws UNDERNEATH the hinges. Removing the top screws can damage the wood of the cabinet.
