Recirculated fabric is included in the class fee.Students are invited to visit The Green Thimble before class to select fabrics from our recirculated fabric collection. If you have favourite quilting scraps at home, you're also welcome to bring them to personalize your project.
Your project requires:
- Assorted quilting cotton scraps, enough to create a project approximately 20" in total layout (individual pieces should be no smaller than 2" square)
- One 10" × 10" square of batting
- One 10" × 10" square of cotton backing fabric
- One 2½" × Width of Fabric (approximately 42") strip for binding
- 20% off quilting cottons at Gala Fabrics or Buttons & Bows.
- 20% off class supplies and tools purchased for this workshop.

- Sewing machine in good working order
- Walking foot
- Rotary cutter
- Self-healing cutting mat
- Quilting ruler
- Fabric scissors

- Safety pins for basting
- Thread to coordinate with your fabrics
- New quilting needle installed in your machine

She has had quilts juried into international shows and feature displays of her smaller art pieces. Netta enjoys sharing her extensive knowledge, teaching workshops and working collaboratively with others in the quilting community. |
