Kids Sewing Camp - Summer Break 2026 (Ages 8-12)

Looking for a creative and hands-on summer experience? Our Kids Sewing Summer Camp is perfect for young makers who love working with fabric, colour, and design!

Join us for a fun and inspiring week where campers will explore hand embroidery, other fabric crafts and machine sewing, create their own unique projects, and build confidence in their creative skills. Each day is filled with guided instruction, imaginative projects, and plenty of time to experiment and express personal style.

This camp is designed for ages 8–12 and welcomes all skill levels—whether your child is brand new to sewing or already loves to create.

Summer Camp Scheduling Options

Our summer camps offer flexible scheduling to suit your needs. You may register your child for:

• Morning session only

• Afternoon session only

• Full-day camp (morning + afternoon)

Each session runs for 3 hours. If your child is enrolled in both the morning and afternoon sessions, this is a full 6-hour day, with a 30-minute break between sessions.

To register for a full-day camp, please select both the morning and afternoon time slots when choosing your dates. All available options are clearly listed in the date and time selection section during the booking process.

Monday: Fabric block printing - Learn the art stenciled block printing to make into a project later in the week! 

Tuesday: DIY hand sewn bunting - Learn the art of bunting by hand, needle Felting OR Embroidery

Wednesday: Machine Sewing - We're going to take our block print and/or embroidery and turn it into a DRAWSTRING BAG or PILLOW. 

Thursday: Machine Sewing - Make a Stuffy. This could be a doll, monster, your favourite animal or character from a game or just your imagination!

Friday: Choose Your Own Adventure - Taking the skills you learned during the week and create your project.

The above schedule is just a suggestion, however our instructor will check in with the group what they want to work and base the schedule accordingly to the group interest.

Your enthusiasm and sense of fun and creativity!

If you have a sewing machine, you can bring it with you. If you are bringing your home machine, please remember to bring the manual (and foot pedal/power cord, and any accessories it came with).

We supply for you:

All materials and equipment are provided for each project. If you don't have a sewing machine, we will provide you with one.

Group size: Maximum 6

Snacks & Refreshments:

We encourage you to send snacks and refreshments as it’s much easier to be creative when you have fuel for the brain!

Skill Level:	Beginner
Skill Details:	This camp is geared towards beginner sewers who may or may not have sewn on a machine before. It is an all levels class so it is also suitable for those who have sewn before.
