Sniffle Crate Class (Advanced Beginner)

Whether it’s cold season, allergy season, or just one of those days—you’ll be ready with your very own handmade Sniffle Crate! In this cozy and creative class, you’ll learn how to sew a soft, reusable tissue box crate and make a set of washable flannel "tissues" to go inside.

This charming project is perfect for gifting to friends, family, teachers, or just keeping for yourself as a comforting home essential.


Skill Level: Advanced beginner 

Skill requirements:

A couple beginner level classes, such as 'Tote Bag for New Sewists', have sewn a several projects on your own PLUS basic sewing experience (knowing how to thread and use a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, construct simple seams, and be familiar with sewing terminology such as "right sides of fabric together" and "seam allowance"). 

Must be aged 16+

Students Will Learn:

• How to measure and cut fabric for box construction

• Techniques for sewing lined fabric containers

• How to make soft, reusable flannel tissues

• Finishing techniques for a polished, gift-worthy look

 By the end of class, you’ll leave with:

• A completed Sniffle Crate (fabric tissue box holder)

• A set of handmade flannel tissues

• A new skillset in structured sewing projects

• The perfect handmade gift or personal comfort item!
