Volunteer Day

Come lend a hand and help us sort through our fabric donations! We’re looking for friendly volunteers to help organize donated textiles by type, fibre content (where possible), and size.

Whether you’re a seasoned sewist or just love being around fabric, we’d love to have you join us. While fabric knowledge is an asset, no experience is necessary. We have a flow chart, and we have jobs like measuring and bolting that don't require assessment.

What to expect:

  • Light lifting and sorting

  • Good company and good vibes

  • Snacks and tea to keep you going

  • A peek at some fabulous fabric finds!

What you get out of volunteering with us:

  • Help reduce waste from the landfill
  • $20 credit to use towards and fabric and goods in shop
  • First pick of fabric to use your credit towards
