Volunteer Day
Come lend a hand and help us sort through our fabric donations! We’re looking for friendly volunteers to help organize donated textiles by type, fibre content (where possible), and size.
Whether you’re a seasoned sewist or just love being around fabric, we’d love to have you join us. While fabric knowledge is an asset, no experience is necessary. We have a flow chart, and we have jobs like measuring and bolting that don't require assessment.
We now have four volunteer days each month! Two are held on Tuesdays and two on Wednesdays, alternating on opposite weeks.
Tuesdays are hosted by Heather, our social media guru and one of our amazing instructors.
Wednesdays are hosted by Kelly, one of our wonderful long-time volunteers.
We’re so grateful to Heather and Kelly for helping make these volunteer days possible! As well as grateful to our community fo volunteers for helping us out!

What you get out of volunteering with us:
- Help reduce waste from the landfill
- $20 credit to use towards and fabric and goods in shop
- First pick of fabric to use your credit towards
