Me-Made May Swap
Come join us to celebrate the end of Me-Made May with a garment and pattern swap. A fun event to share your current me-mades while swapping out your old me-mades you no longer want, or even abandoned sewn garments you didn't want to finish!What is Me-Made May?
Me Made May has become a movement for sewists to focus on and celebrate their handmade clothing during the month of May. It's a time to wear, appreciate, and potentially learn more about the garments they've made themselves, fostering a deeper connection with their handmade wardrobe as well as to continue to make their personal sewing practices align with their values, both environmentally, as well as personally.

Guidelines for the Swap:
- PLEASE make sure garments are CLEAN and in DECENT condition
- LIMIT to 10 garments per participant
- NO limit on patterns
- For the amount of items you bring you can swap up to the same amount
- Doors open @ 6pm, Swap starts @ 7pm - PLEASE HAVE YOUR ITEMS HERE BY 6:30pm
RSVP with the number of garment items you will be bringing with you, to classes@thegreenthimble.ca prior to the day of, so we can prepare the space for the garments and patterns.
** Any left over garments from the event will be donated to OUR PLACE
Refreshments will be served during this event!
