You Can Sew!

Sewing Classes for ages 8-12. This class is for kids who love to get creative and who are curious about learning to sew. No experience is required, some experience is fine too.

In this after school class kids learn the basics of hand sewing, embroidery, and machine sewing. They will make simple projects such as: a drawstring bag, a tote bag, a pillow, a stuffy of your creation, hair scrunchies, a pincushion, a lavender sachet.

When sewing basics have been learned, students will be encouraged and supported to make what they want within the class guidelines.

Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machines, or use machines provided.

All materials included. Students may bring their own fabric, thread, haberdashery, or other embellishments they wish to use, if desired.
