The Amazing Holiday Jelly Roll Race! - Hosted at The Makehouse Co-Op
Welcome to our second Amazing Jelly Roll Race! This time it is Holiday themed using fun fabrics that will make a quilt top that can finished as a gift for someone or for you use as a cozy quilt to snuggle up with with a cup of cocoa!
This event, co-hosted at The Makehouse by Bizz from The Green Thimble, is a quilting extravaganza as you have never seen it before!
Join a group of sewists to make a quilt top in an afternoon. Fabric and thread is included! There will be prizes! There will be tea and cake! Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Be ready to starting sewing at 1 p.m.
Bizz will start the event off by explaining the construction of the quilt top (measuring approximately 50 x 64"). Once everyone's questions are answered, a timer will be set and the sewing will begin!

What's included:
- Jelly Roll (40x 2.5" strips)
- Thread, if desired
- Jelly roll style cake dessert
- Tea
- Prizes for race winners (gift certificate and batting are some examples of prizes to be won)
- Sewing machines available for use, if desired
- Ironing stations available for use
- 15% off materials to finish your quilt, such as batting, backing, binding fabric, thread. From either The Makehouse or The Green Thimble.
- Your machine in good working order with a fresh needle of your preference for piecing (if you need a machine, there will be some available)
- 1/4" piecing foot
- Thread (Optional, if you have your own preference. Aurifil 2600 Dove Grey will be provided)
