Bag-Making Sewcial
Come join Marnie and a group of sewists in a relaxed atmosphere to share ideas and make progress on your bag focused projects!
Bag-making Sewcial is for sewists who are comfortable working independently on their projects. Marnie will be hosting each session in case you need a little help. If you think you'll need more than a few minutes of help, please book a private lesson with us.
What to bring to sewcial:
- Anything you will need for your specific project. Some likely candidates are:
- Sewing machine in good working order (if you don't have one, you are welcome to use one of ours)
- Fabric needed for project
- Any stabilizers needed
- Zippers needed
- Hardware needed
- Pattern for bag in mind, if applicable
- Typical notions and accessories:
- Fresh needle
- Thread
- Pins/clips
- Fabric scissors
- Non-fabric scissors
- Small cutting mat, ruler(s), and rotary cutter
- Marking tools
- Bobbin(s)
- Straight stitch foot
- Walking foot
- Zipper foot
