Having trouble with your sewing machine and want to take a crack at it yourself? Bring your machine down to The Green Thimble repair cafe and work on it with guidance from our in-store technician.
We start by going over regular maintenance that everyone should be doing at home between their bi-annual full service. If you want to go more in-depth, we get into the nitty gritty after, for anything specific you may want to fix or know, or if you are eager to take your machine apart as much as you dare in the time we have.

What to bring:
- Your machine
- Any appropriate tools you have (there will be some available to use - screwdrivers, small wrenches, etc.)
- Sewing machine oil, if you have it (NOT WD-40 or 3in1, sewing machine oil only)
- Rag
- Thread and material for testing
