This class will build on the Advanced Beginner Corset class. You will be making a custom fit, over-bust corset. We will cover the basics of corset making and boned bodices. This class will focus on fit. You will be shown how to alter the corset pattern to get a custom fit and leave with a custom pattern that can be used to make more advanced corsets.

Customize Your Class: Are you and a group of friends wanting to make a pattern, a project, or want to try a new technique, but need some guidance? Contact us with your idea and we'll reserve space and time with an instructor. Or, host a community night with your group to work alongside each other. Space available for teambuilding, low-key parties, and get-togethers. We're here to support you on your sewing journey!

Class Policies:

 

  • Registration is confirmed with full payment.
  • If minimum participation is not met by one week prior, class may be canceled. Cancellation for this reason may happen up to 48 hours prior to class.
  • We reserve the right to cancel classes any time due to emergency situations. 
  • Classes canceled due to low attendance will be postponed to a new date which will be workshopped based on current registrations availability whenever possible. If no suitable date can be found, the class fee will be refunded. 
  • In respect for instructors and fellow classmates, classes are non-refundable one week prior to start of class. If minimum participation is still met, store credit may be given at this time, with notice prior to class.
  • You are responsible for making sure you have the necessary supplies ahead of time for each class. If a supply list is not provided in the class description, please ask for one. They may be provided separately. 
  • Students receive 20% off supplies for class, as well as off machine accessories, notions, and fabric the day of class. A discount card is available for students to use at other local fabric supply stores, available upon registration. 
  • In respect for instructors and fellow classmates, please refrain from wearing heavily scented products.
